The Anti-Plague Tonic to Boost Your Immune System and Fight Infection

Today I'm bringing you one of my FAVORITE home remedies to beat the flu and colds for the winter months ahead.  This past winter I sipped on this beauty just about everyday and never came down with even a sniffle! Yeah, it's that badass.

I first heard of this winter tonic, or what I like to call it 'an anti-plague tonic', a few years ago when at a friend’s house we got on the subject of the bubonic plague. We were talking about how back in the middle ages a small group of people had found a natural remedy against the plague that was killing thousands overnight. This magical tonic was crafted with a handful of potent herbs, powerful roots, and hardy veggies that held anti-bacterial & antiviral properties.

I honestly didn't think much of the whole discussion, until about a year later when this tonic appeared in my life again. I had a 'ah-ha' moment and decided to try this bad boy out for myself.

So here's what you'll need to craft this powerful winter tonic:

Now, I say a handful because this recipe is foolproof. You really can't mess it up!

For the most potent and high-quality tonic, I encourage you to use only locally-grown or organically-grown ingredients.

Now, I'm gonna leave the final step of this kick-ass tonic up to you,

I like to ferment my tonic for a week to really take this health tonic to its full potential. If you choose to ferment your tonic, find a cool dark place to store it. You'll want to shake it once a day for a week.

I like to store my tonic and all my other crafty home-remedies in my altar. It's cool, dark, off the ground and most of all, a sacred space to add even more positive energy and potential into my tonics!

Once it sits for about a week and you shake it once a day, it's ready to go. You can store it in the fridge for up to, I'd say - about a year.

So there you go my friends, you got yourself an anti-plague tonic!

Now - IT'S POWERFUL. It's going to be spicy and pungent. But if you're a fan of a little heat, you'll love to use this on a salad, as a marinating dressing, or take a tablespoon or two every day to keep well all winter long.

**I'm not a doctor and I don't recommend this for little children or if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed above. Listen to your body and take as needed!**
