Nervous & excited, I ran through in my mind what I'd teach along with a fire playlist lol
Eleven years later, not much has changed. I still get butterflies before I teach & the music is what get's my creativity flowing.
The only real difference is the 11 years of trial & error + the thousands of classes taught.

You can't always plan for what a class is going to be. For example, someday's you'll have 25 + ppl & at other times, you'll be doing a 1-1.
Free to play & safety first is my motto!
But for a long time, I felt that the bigger my classes were, "the more successful the class was."
Not true at all.
Cause from my 11 years of teaching, I've dealt with mean ppl, rude ppl, entitled ppl, creeps, fitness nazis...You get the point.
People who come to my classes for any other reason but to get healthy and have fun; I don't want them.
It's not about the size or how hard you can "work" your class, or if it's a social club, it's about having the RIGHT PEOPLE there for the RIGHT REASONS.
That's why I started using cannabis while teaching classes because it blocked out the shitty ppl, yet opened my heart to best serve the ppl that came with GOOD intentions.
The people there for the wrong reasons I'd never see again & thank goodness because from 11 years of teaching, it is easy to see when someone's energy isn't in the right place.
But the RIGHT ppl come back, bring a friend or turn into a soul-mate client!
