Howdy, From Colorful Colorado!
Post-Sedona & car issues. Day 33 on the Road!
Jeeze la weeze. This past week has been a doozy.
Last time we caught up I was in Phoenix on my way to Sedona, AZ. I ended up with the best FREE camp spot in Sedona...
After hanging out with the big ol' red rocks in Sedona & filming some fun workouts, I decided to move north where it was cooler. aka Colorado! I was hit with some car issues. Thank goodness for forest rangers...lol
The running-board of my car came off, which popped my tire and broke my mirror.. totally scary + was on the side of a highway with no service. I made it back on the road later that day with my spare tire and headed to Breckenridge, CO.
I hung out for the weekend until a tire shop would be open on Monday. I ended up having to drive into Loveland, CO with my spare because I couldn't get in anywhere. Super annoyed & on my moontime, I decided to just go with it.
Making my way into Boulder, stopped through my old neighborhood, and visited where my great aunt & uncle used to live. They since passed on and I'm thankful I was able to get to know them when I was first out in Colorado 8 years ago.
I even hiked the tallest peak in Boulder Yesterday, which my great aunt used to hike when she was young. It was hard! 6 hours roundtrip, with Kudi and a 2,000+ elevation gain. OH, & we saw BEARS! Don't worry they didn't mess with us :)
OMG, I forgot to mention, the day my tire popped was the morning I filmed my best workout video yet! Wake N' Bake By the Lake!
Anywho, I've been staying in a Tiny Home in Loveland for the week & tomorrow I'll be on the road again. I'm not sure where I'll be going. But Wyoming is calling my name! If you'd like to contribute to my cannabis fitness road trip, click here. Anything helps & most of all, I appreciate you showing your support.
Over this past week's challenges, I've wanted to throw in the towel so many times! But every time I almost do, someone or something humbling happens that makes it all worth it. Messages from people that are inspired by my journey or a random human that thinks cannabis fitness is the coolest thing ever, those things keep me going.
Next month Steve (my Bob Marley impersonator friend) wants to throw another cannabis wellness party in San Diego. We're thinking of a bus tour that's cannabis wellness infused with live music, fresh food, and fitness! I don't know if I'll be back in Florida by then or still on the road. But I'll keep you all posted.
Thank you for your support, it means a lot right now. I hope you all are doing well and if you need the motivation to get your body & mind healthy, check out all my offers here. There is a little something for each of you!
xo,
Kendra
