Learning to trust yourself
Imagine having a home with no foundation and zero stability connected to the ground.
The floor has cracks, holes and resembles nothing comfortable to "feel at home." Causing you to have an anxious, nervous, and turbulent state-of-mind.
Just like a house that needs a steady and firm foundation to keep you safe, your energy requires the same.
Anxiety can be so sneaky!
Convincing our minds that THIS IS HOW WE DO.
naaaaaa!
A constant state of feeling unsafe in your body can lead you to distrust your environment and the people in it.
That's not healthy for you or the world around ya. So how do you re-gain your balance when your two feet aren't planted on the ground?
GET INTO YO BOD-AYEEE.
An easy way to do this is by directing your focus to the present moment and take notice of your 5 senses.
How does your skin feel on your clothes?
What smells are in the air?
What colors stand out through your eyesight?
How about noise? What sounds surround you?
Then, talk to yourself like you would your best friend or how you coach a client.
"You got DIS!"
"Keep going."
"You're doing such a great job with everything right now."
"I'm so proud of you for _________."
You're re-training your brain gradually to be in a calm & submissive state by not giving your anxiety the attention you typically would.
Through nurturing a healthy mindset you'll get the hang of trusting yourself and it'll become natural af to DO YOU.
da REAL you.
