Gentle guidance from a good friend up above. Rest easy, Vince.

A dear friend of mine that was a massage therapist & personal trainer passed away last year.

We worked together on and off for years at the same gym, traveled to Michigan for functional movement school & I would sub his group classes when he was burnt out from teaching.

He had so much knowledge, experience, and a genuine heart to help people with their bodies.

A few months before his passing, I called him to ask about getting into massage and what he thought about it.

"Kendra, if you have an urge to use your hands on people's bodies, you should listen to it."

I knew I didn't want to be a traditional massage therapist, though, cause I was not a conventional personal trainer.

Rather, I'd incorporate a blend of functional movement, stretching, energy work, active manual therapy, and of course, cannabis.

So a year & 6 months later, here I am, doing it.

Practicing an ancient art while incorporating what I know is such a blessing.

So now, when I put my hands on another human, I witness a flow of time-earned-experience, meeting 10+ years of education and the gentle guidance from a good friend up in the heavens.

Rest easy, Vince. I hope you look as fresh up there as you did down here.

Cheers to another stepping stone.

xo, Kendra
