Nature + Fitness= A Body You Can Trust In Any Element.
Welcome to New Roots'
"The way is patterned on nature" -Lao Tzu
If we look closely at nature, we can see similar cycles within us.
We, too, are always ending & starting something new or transitioning from one life experience to another.
Working with the seasons can help us better understand our inner cycles and shows us simple ways to use them for our well-being.
So, when creating a lifestyle for long-term success, why not turn to it as a guide?
Mind Body Physique's New Roots program is designed to help you sync your health with nature to create a balanced lifestyle.
You don't need to be vegetarian, live off-grid, or heck, even like being outside to benefit. New Roots helps you navigate your organic, internal rhythm to co-create with your external environment.
Over the next 12 months, we'll be navigating the seasons together to build a health-centered foundation for the rest of your life.
Here's an overview of what's in store.
Phase 1: January, February, March | Winter
Reflect, release, and restore will be our main focus during the first phase: winter. As we undergo the darker months, you'll learn how to reflect on your health history and start to imagine how you'd like to re-shape it. Releasing what is 'dead', such as old belief systems or habits that hinder your health, will allow you to nurture the new ideas that you'd like to take action on.
We'll tap into this cycle through:
Learning foundational 3-D movements for a balanced body.
Self-reflection exercises with cannabis.
Unlocking your flexibility to build mobility through music & intuitive stretching.
Home remedies & herbal tonics to detox and re-boot your immunity.
Phase 2: April, May, June | Spring
As we exit the cold winter days and embrace the warmth of spring, we'll evolve our focus into creating new habits. With understanding your body's needs through phase one, we'll start to explore how we can meet those needs in phase two. Planting new seeds and tending to them each week will set us up for the long summer days.
We'll tap into the cycle of spring through:
Understanding your cannabis needs for your lifestyle.
Defining new habits and creating a plan to initiate them.
Re-designing your favorite exercises with 3-D movement.
Utilizing energizing foods, herbs, and DIY cleaning products for a chemical-free lifestyle.
Phase 3: July, August, September | Summer
Now that we've let go of old habits and defined new ones, we'll be ready to take on the heat of summer. Taking action with consistency and focusing on our goals brings us closer to the results we've been incubating since winter. Phase three offers the promise of “hard work paid off” in the fall if we can persist and build in the summer.
We'll tap into the cycle of summer through:
Taking action on your goals (“walk it like you talk it”).
Learning how to use cannabis for enhancing endurance, strength, stability, mobility, and flexibility training.
Crafting a workout routine that fits your lifestyle.
DIY body products for healthy, radiant skin.
Defining your summer "soul-foods" for sustained energy.
Phase 4: October, November, December | Fall
Rolling into fall, you'll experience your new foundations at its prime. Harvesting the fruits of your labor, it's time to enjoy the hard work of the past three phases. That means celebrating your dream physique and leaving you stress-free for the holidays. We'll exam what worked and what didn't, allowing the leaves to fall as winter approaches.
We'll tap into the cycle of fall through:
Celebrating your dream physique with specialized workouts & cannabis adventures that are catered to challenging your new foundation.
Learning how to add cannabis to your favorite foods.
Stocking up on Mind Body Physique swag.
Attending live events and receiving special discounts/promotions on cannabis goodies.
Now it’s your turn.
You can get started now by writing down these three goals & sending them to me here at: mindbodyphysique@gmail.com
Define your dream physique; be realistic but do not underestimate yourself.
How do want to improve your mental health? (i.e., improve focus and mental stamina, stress less, understand what triggers anxiety, build self-confidence, etc.)
Last but not least, what are you going to sacrifice to reach your dream physique & improve your mentality? For example, I'm going to focus less on relationships and put my needs first by saying no to people & situations that distract me from my goals.
Happy first Full Moon of 2020!
Allow yourself to be illuminated,
Kendra Vogue
