A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of training Mr. Harrington, a very successful & now-retired CEO, three days a week.

Back in 1997, Mr. H was an executive of Thompson, a newspaper company. Shortly after becoming CEO, he decided to start getting out of newspapers. This decision would build and transform Thompson into what is today the world's largest information company.
